A fabulous, high paced story with a strong, determined heroine...that picks up pace and drives abruptly into the sunset with no resolution!!!
My copy did not say anywhere on the front that it was the first in a series and the main blurb on the back didn't mention it. On retrospect, the word series is in a line on the back that I overlooked as some random endorsement. The next installment isn't due out for months and I'll have forgotten the intricate groundwork laid by then. Frustrating!!! If you get this book, set it on Mt TBR for a year or two until you can assemble the trilogy and continue the story. This is only half (or a third?) of a book.
