I can't say I loved this book but I did really like it. I enjoy reading apocalyptic type stories. This one was done really well with a Cormack McCarthy's The Road feel to it. Definitely not as depressing though. It was about a boy, Steven, and his dad traveling around looking for things that they could salvage to trade in for things they needed. The boy's father ended up getting badly hurt and Stephen must rely on a group of people for their help. Here he learns about family, honesty, love and doing what is right. I look forward to reading more from this author.
