An excellent dual time line novel, set in the present and Occupied Paris during World War II.
I'm a tough audience for dual timeline stories, they don't usually grab me. And I'm an even tougher audience for books set during World War II, because my family's history is so closely bound up in it, and because I know so much about the topic. But I couldn't find any historical glitches to nitpick in this book. The historical characters and plotline were strong and interesting enough to not lose any intensity even when the book jumped back and forth between the two time periods.
Be forewarned, it's wartime, with the Nazis, so horrible things happen to some beloved characters. But well worth reading.
