What is all the fuss about? I had to read this for my book club, but soon started skimming, waiting for something to happen in this excruciatingly slow-paced non-drama until I stopped in bored frustration half way through. Skipped to the final dozen pages, where the entire 100+ pages I skipped were summarized nicely. Why would someone even want to write this story? Two completely self-absorbed halves of a couple doing terrible things to each other, just because they can. What's the point?
