This book is about home furnishings. It contains lots of beautiful photos and good text about furnishing your home.

I especially like the author's discussion about decorating for comfort. She also talks about keeping older possessions and repurposing them in another room of the house. In short, don't buy junk and if you have something good, keep it.

I think the back cover describes it perfectly, "Whether you are starting out or sprucing up, Sheila Bridges shows how to gtive your home the elegant simplicity for which she is renowned."
