This was classic Brockmann. She grabbed me by the seat of my pants and never let go. Action and more action. Surprises at every turn of the page! It could very well be the best she's written to date. Now, I know there's some controversy with this book, but I'll never understand why people want authors to give them the story they want. I mean the whole reason why we (or at least I) read them is for the author to give me what they want. Why read them otherwise? Yep! This book really worked for me.
