This is the sequel to _Something Borrowed_. It dovetails with its predecessor, examining things from Darcy's point of view. At first it's really easy to dislike Darcy. She is shallow, temperamental, and incredibly manipulative. However, she's a more confident character than Rachel was in the previous book and her vivacity and nature kind of remind me of Scarlett from Gone with the Wind. As the book progresses and her usual method of getting her way proves inept, she really undergoes a huge transformation which is fascinating to see unfold. This, like the one before, is fun and well written with the same breezy, conversational prose of the first. If you like books that feature characters learning how to improve themselves as a basic human being, this book is for you. It's also a really quick read and would be perfect for airplanes or on the beach; not too complicated, but a lot going on! Loved it!
