At first I didn't think I would like it, with the complicated glossary at the front. But the story was hard to resist...so were MCs. And the ending, while almost a cliffhanger, was extraordinarily beautiful...so I am satisfied, though I would have liked a lot more!

It's somewhat complicated world-building, but the glossary does give you a glimpse...don't try to understand it all, but wth, read it so the story flows.

Warning: regular flashbacks to childhood friendship.

And some will be frustrated with the ending...but it's not meant as a cliffhanger (I almost wish it was!)...it just gives a tantalizing glimpse of resolution & HEA.

Well, yep, I have put the next book back on my wl...though I might just buy it instead.
