Mix together the Stepford wives with Desperate Housewives. Add in a pinch of Sex in the City with a splash of CSI and this mixture will equal Abby Drake's new book Good Little Wives.
We start our story in New Falls, N.Y., where a group of socialites present their selves as a club of elite women with nothing more to worry about but their husbands, plastic surgery, clothes and social obligations. When one of the replaced wives is found standing over her ex-husband with a smoking gun it opens all their lives to public scrutinyâ¦and then all their little secrets come out.
I started out not wanting to like these shallow trophy wives but I found myself hooked within a few chapters. It seems that almost all the perfect wives have something that must be kept a secret, quite possibly even enough for one of them to commit murder. Good Little Wives contains enough twists, turns, and secrets to keep you interested till the end. A fun, tongue in cheek read for your lazy days.
