Bridget O. (sixteendays) - reviewed on + 130 more book reviews
I was pleasantly delighted the entire way through this book. The characters were interesting (though not fully fleshed), the world was comfortable (as it is the same world as the Parasol Protectorate books) and the pacing was very nice.
That being said, there isnt anything in particular that really captured my imagination in this book (excepting, perhaps, Bumbersnoot). I can see a lot of potential, especially in Sophronia and Sidheag (well that one I know for sure), and I am looking forward to reading further in this series and watching the girls mature a bit more.
