The state of Texas isn't big enough for Tyler Randolph and his six rough-and-ready brothers. So the rugged loner sets off for New Mexico in search of a lost mine. He is out to find gold in them thar hills, but he strikes the real mother lode when he rescues a feisty and independent beauty from the wilderness. Attacked, shot, and left for dead, Daisy is horrified to wake up in Tyler's cabin. Then a blizzard traps them together, and she is convinced that the mountain man is a fourteen-carat cad-until his unpolished charm claims her love. Before long, Daisy is determined to do some digging of her own to unearth the treasures hidden in Tyler's heart.
