I loved Tending Roses and Language of the Sycamores by Lisa Wingate. They both touched my heart in so many ways. This was the story that came in between them, although it barely touched on the others, and certainly is a stand alone book. This is Jenny Lee's story. She is a cousin to the two women featured in the other books. It's a story of family, neighbors, a devastating tragedy in the town, people coming together and people changing their values and lives after many, many years. I enjoyed it, but it didn't come close to the other two.
