This is one of those cookbooks with really good, detailed instructions. After trying several recipes, I have a lot of confidence that the next one I try will work out well. I've mostly used the dessert and baking recipes so far. And just as a note, this is one of those cookbooks that has several recommended flour blends at the front of the book; that was the only problem I had, but in the end I just substituted my own blend with the gf flours I had, and it worked fine.
