Chef Sadie Spencer has been through alot in her 30 years of life - widowhood, abandonment as a child, disolvement of her cooking show and therefore, the end of her career as a TV chef. She has the gift of cooking. After settling down in her hometown of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Sadie opens up Suncatchers - an up and thriving restaurant in the city. Everything is going well . . . a good job, a dear friend, and then one day it all ends. Two mysterious gentlemen show up in town . . . one's dream could possibly destroy Sadie's and the other is determined to get back into Sadie's life much to her dismay.
She falls in love with a man only to have a huge argument with him. He leaves town and moves to Colorado. Will they ever be reunited in the bonds of matrimony?
This is a good book. It had a couple of twists and turns I didn't expect. The only thing I didn't care for was the last 100 pages where she started blubbering and crying alot - it just got old to me. However, I did enjoy seeing how she placed her faith in God and made the best of her situation. She saw her many imperfections and the need to humble herself.
