Why is it some authors think their readers are stupid enough to buy any book with the author's name printed on the cover? It was bad enough W.E.B. Griffin let his son turn one of his series into soft porn, but they then figured their readers couldn't remember what happened in previous books. The books in this series, as in some of the others, started repeating numerous pages of text describing what happened in the last two or three books. In fact, this book often has filler repeating what the characters said just a few pages before.

And this book jumps around so much you wonder if the author---Griffin's son---let it lay there for several weeks, then came back and forgot the plot he was developing and started something new. That's a shame, as he began some aspects of the plot which greatly interested me but which he then abandoned.

This book is over 700 pages long, but I finally gave up in disgust around page 525. No more Griffin books will come into my house. The titles of the books in this series include the word "Honor," but the authors don't have any when it comes to their readers.
