This book was very helpful in understanding my mechanically gifted but non-talking son. The stories he tells are fascinating and a good warning of what talents my be developing while the child is not talking. I do recommend this book to parents whose boys are not talking as soon as others. And yes, my son eventually started talking and has turned out to be great at math and science and love music.
