Lucy loved and adored Guido, a prince of Mardivino, but knew if she wanted to continue as his mistress, she had to play by his rules. Once Guido brings her to Mardivino for his nephew's christening, however, the rules suddenly change. Lucy begins to understand where she stands in Guido's life and leaves. But when she discovers she's expecting The Prince's Love-Child , Guido sweeps in and marries herbut happily ever after is not to be. Not until Guido learns to come to terms with his past so that he can move on to the future, while Lucy has to have faith that eventually something will turn around.
