Brunstetter has written another good book. A father abandons his young son after his wife dies, and he goes to look for work. An Amish couple adopts the 6-yr old. Both the young son and the father wonder about each other during the years that pass in their separation. The father had fallen upon challenging circumstances, felt helpless after he abandoned his son. His son questions why his father deserted him. Read the story for the ending. A great story.
