the 2nd in a series of hilarious novels about the adventures of Betsey Taylor, the unwitting queen of vampires. Newly undead and newly queen , in this book we find Betsey at her first job at Macy's. She is unwilling to give up her shoe fetish and doesn't understand the boring life of a vampire. If you liked "Devil wears Prada" "The second Assistant" You would like this series for the plucky heroin, Betsey Taylor. See also the "Shopaholic" Series, a similar, but less well written series.
