I liked this book but it didn't quite meet my expectations for a WWII HF novel. There was just something off about the romantic relationships. She spends two years thinking she's in love with Charlie and they are going to marry, but then a week after she is spurned she realizes she's in love with his brother?? That didn't add up. And the timing of the novel seemed off too - poor editing maybe? Anyway, good story overall and the prose was good but some pieces just didn't come together.
