Well, I must say that I liked the book. While it did not have the spark that the first book had, the push-pull relationship between Georgiana and Quinn was intriguing. She had had a crush on Quinn since childhood and having him back after 15 years was unsettling to her. It took a while for the two of them to come to terms with their new found positions, her a widow of his cousin and best friend in childhood and him a widower with a young daughter. He thinks she grieves for her husband who died on their wedding night and she thinks he grieves for his late wife. The Widow's Club (Barely Bereaved Beauties, as Quinn calls them) do help to sort things out and the high spirited little girl adds her helping hand. I enjoyed the book. It rather stands alone rather than being a continuation of the first book.
