Although the cover didn't entice me, looking to sci-fi, it was a really good story. Mercy is an appealing character as she tries to remain on the right side of using her gifts and helping the friends around her. Those friends turn around and help save her, but ultimately she saves herself by crossing the line of right and wrong.
