This is a very sensitive book dealing with the death of a beloved child & then the knowledge that the baby had been switched at birth. The mother seeks out the child that was born to her but switched when she learns that the child's parents are dead & she has only her elderly grandparents to care for her. The conflicts within the family, the mother's struggles to love this new child, & the 13 year old's struggles to understand are all very real. The ending is very touching.
