I loved this book! I fell in love with it from the cover. I was only hoping that the book could live up to the artwork and it did! It was a bit slow in the beginning but very interesting. I had to stick with it to find out what was going on. By the middle of the book I was so entranced that I couldn't hardly put it down. Darn having to work for a living!
It's about a boy named Mackie. He is your typical teenager. Mackie knows he's different and so does everyone else even if they won't admit to it. The problem is everything that has bothered him (metal, blood, etc) seems to be intensifying and he's getting real sick. Mackie needs to learn more about the night he was switched for a "regular" child and where exactly he comes from. The truth turns out to be a fight for not only his life but others as well.
Dark and enjoyable. I would love to see more books come out by this author.
