In this installment of the Dark Tower Series, the ka-tet take a break from activily searching for the Dark Tower to help the people of Calla Bryn Sturgis. While planning the for the attack against the Wolves of Thunderclap, the ka-tet realizes all things lead to the Dark Tower and more clues fall into place while other clues make things MORE difficult. The book ends on a cliff hanger making you want to immediately pick up Book 6.

The wolves of Thunderclap and thier unspeakable depredation are coming. To resist them is to risk all, but these are odds the gunslingers are used to. Their guns, however, will not be enough...
