Picks up right where Scent of Magic left off. (Thanks to Debbie for the refresher!). If you haven't read this series, now is the time since they are all out. Both Touch of Power and Scent of Magic had cliffhanger endings (hate those) with a year wait between books.
I do think I would have enjoyed this more had I read them closer together. I missed the map. (First 2 had the map, this one didn't). It took a little while for me to get into the story, picking up around page 100. After that, it was hard to put down with all the was going on.
Having said that, this was a fun read. Characters (both good and bad) make appearances in this one. Happily, the bad, well, let's just say I was satisfied with the outcomes. Avry and Kerrick get their HEA. "Realm of Peace," very fitting. Pleasing end to the trilogy.
