Welcome to Dry Creek, TX, where everyone knows your business! I did like that the main female character was a carpenter (Allie). I thought that was cool and unconventional. Her sister, on the other hand, I was not crazy about and would guilt trip Allie when she didn't want to go out on double dates with her & fiance & her chosen guy for her sister. I thought Allie was a doormat at times.
Anyway, Blake is new in town and fixing up the ranch (Lucky Penny Ranch) he bought with his brothers. He needed a carpenter and luckily, Allie needed the job. It did get old how every single women came by to see Blake. Yes, I know he's hot and single. Geez. My eyes might have gotten stuck in the back of my head at the end with Allie and Blake's news.
