I just finished an ARC I received for free from Goodreads First Reads. This is the first Blossom Street book I read, but not the first Debbie Macomber. I thoroughly enjoyed the Cedar Cove series, and expected this one to be a winner as well. As with the CC books, other characters from previous books stop on by and weave their way in and out of the story, so it isn't necessary to read the other Blossom Street books before this one. I enjoyed this book as I have her others, though Lauren and Rooster's story seemed far-fetched at times. The characters were enjoyable and this was a quick yet sweet read. I have no doubt I'll be reading the other Blossom Street books very soon.
