I stopped reading Foster a while back because her characters were getting really lame. For whatever reason I decided to pick this up because I remember enjoying her cage fighting series. I'm so glad I did and I look forward to seeing where this series will go.
Cannon was so patient and sweet with Yvette. And I liked that even though Yvette took a lot from her ex, she knew when enough was enough and acted on it. The side characters, other fighters and families, were intriguing as well and kept it fun.
Good read.
