Sarah Tingle is a kindergarten teacher who just lost her job due to a slight "indiscretion" from years ago. She has taken on a job as a motor coach driver for race-car drive Lance Cooper to earn some money and time to find a new teaching position. She knows nothing about racing and just needs the job.
Lance Cooper is in a bit of a slump and needs to focus on his driving. Sarah is a distraction he doesn't think he needs.

This is a really sweet romance. Very clean--only a few curse words in the whole book and NO sex (just implied). Totally acceptable for a "younger" reader. Lance and Sarah are both cute characters and easily likable.

This was a quick read that I really enjoyed. It was my first Pamela Britton book and I am going to keep reading more. This is actually the second in the NASCAR series (after Dangerous Curves), but I did not read the first. There wasn't a need to read the first, but there were a few references that I might have understood if I had read Dangerous Curves.
