I had an enjoyable time reading the book. It was fast flowing and easy to read as well. However, I was not only shocked, but disgusted by usage of what I would deem "curse words" thoughout the book. It was enough to disgust me that the author felt it necessary to repeatedly use the Lord's name in vain, but to have to cross words and phrases out as I go in order to be able to allow my friends and family to read it, just angered me. So you understand what I'm calling "curse words", a phrase used was "...a rat's A##", "what the He##", Damn....these were all used. I'm looking for Spiritual edification and enjoyment. If I have a TV Guardian on my TV (it removes all the curses out of programs that would otherwise be ok), why would I allow it in my Christian Literature?
Just a warning to anyone else who would find this type of thing offensive. :)
