I love this series. I feel like it's under-appreciated--other books in the same genre are more popular and have longer wishlists, but I really feel Maria Lima is an excellent author and Keira Kelly is one kick-ass heroine!

Fairies, shape-shifters, Seelie, Un-Seelie, witches, vampires, fortune-tellers, I'm telling you: this series has them ALL in a believable storyline that never lets up and always ends too soon.

This is book 5, and the author says she doesn't think she will be writing any more in this series. This book begins exactly where book 4 ends, practically at the same moment in time. Lima ropes you back into the action just that fast :) The storyline is just as intriguing and it honestly surprised me by not going the "predictable" route. I'm sad, but I can see where this is a good place to end their stories.

If you are a fan of "urban paranormal" books, you simply MUST read this series. The only other author/series I can compare this to is Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews, and that series is a lot more well-known. If you're waiting at the end of the 200+ waiting list for that series--read this one in the meantime--it's awesome and you'll thank me for it!

5 stars--the best in the UP genre I've read this year!
