This is such a unique work that I find it hard to express my views of the book. One thing I did not enjoy was listening to this as an audiobook. The reader was gifted but the thoughts in this book are difficult to comprehend when only listening. Actually, I listened to it twice, hoping to capture it into my mind. However, I plan to read it with my eyes so I can stop and think about some of the ideas shared.
Before this book, I'd never heard of this author. He was a Lebanese-American who wrote this in the 1920s. However, now I'm curious about other things he may have written. This is very thought-provoking and intense. Enjoy.
