First book of a new series by the author. I really enjoyed the Raine Stockton series, I did not care for this one.
When I got to the end of Chapter 2 and the dogs thoughts were there, I skipped to the end of a few chapters and saw the dogs thoughts were there too and knew this series was over for me.
I am not a fan of books that have talking animals or give the animals thoughts.
