A wonderful book telling the story of a latina woman in 17th century Massachussets, at the time of the Salem Witch Trials. The historical detail is very well written, and the protagonist is a heroine taking on the religious establishment.
For bi-lingual spanish speakers, the details in Spanish are a dear touch. For non-spanish speakers, the author makes it very comprehensible.
All in all, a wonderful read. 5 stars.
