This is, I think, the first book of the trilogy about a secretive fellowhip dedicated to righting wrongs in the highest circles of Regency society, and the men and women who risk their lives for justice. The players in this one are: Jarrett, Lord Dering, a family outcast, a rake, a wastrel and Kate Falshaw, a high-tempered actress on the run from a scandalous past. Intriguing and passionate characters. You shouldn't miss this one if you're a fan of Lynn Kerstan's writing.
