Ive remained loyal to this series, and love it from the beginning. Ive laughed and cried over these books. However I just cant say I loved this one. I found myself totally hating rose by the end. I think the author tired too hard to make this a happy ending. I would have loved some sadness other than a broken heart. OH maybe a death; or something more interesting like a kidnapped Adrian or maybe he turn stragori on purpose. Those would have made it up to par with the other books. She left the book where she can now take the individual characters like Lissa and Adrian and write spinoffs to make them happy too. : ( Im not a big fan of the lets have a happy ending so I still have characters to make my spinoff with. Sadly I was greatly Disappointed with pretty much the whole book from start to finish.

I love Dimitri and Rose together before he was kidnapped and turned. After Blood Promise I pretty much was finished with them being together. Id come to like her and Adrian together and I felt they were much healthier together. However the author didnt feel the same way no she had to literally break Adrians heart by making Rose CHEAT on him. I totally feel that Adrian was justified in treating Rose the way he did in the end. Sometimes you just need to be pissed off at someone.
