I've kept this book through the years (my oldest is 20 now). It opened up a whole different world of finding activities for my children to do that would be educational and didn't involved a screen.
My favorite or at least one that I did was putting numbers on pieces of magnets, get the strip of magnets with the paper that you peel off on one side, write the numbers and cut between them. The child then puts them in orderon a baking sheet or other piece of metal.
I love the title and the excitement it conveys which comes from learning and figuring things out.
The book was the beginning of exploring how children can learn at home which led to homeschooling which we did for several years.
