Tyrone and Viola live in a retirement complex. They are on their way to visit a resident whose parrot died when they come upon another resident standing outside her doorway holding a bloody knife in her hand. Further investigation finds the woman's husband dead in their apartment. Ty and Vi are convinced the police are wrong when the wife is arrested for murdering her husband and the two seniors set out to prove it.
