Good not great. Showalter creates interesting characters and situations but this book didn't "wow". The development of the relationship between the characters didn't seem very organic and it was more lust than love. As a romance it wasn't very convincing. She definitely created a lot of suspense and it was difficult to guess how things were going to be resolved in the end. Overall it was worth the read but it wasn't memorable and isn't a keeper.
