Daisy Dalrymple Fletcher may have no trouble helpng her husband, Chief Inspector Alec Fletcher, apprehend hardened criminals for Scotland Yard, but she's no match for her mother. The formidible Dowager Viscountess Dalrymple has issued her edict: the entire family is to gather for Christmas at Brockdene, the ancestral estate of Lord Westmoor in Cornwall.
