Henriette has never been outside on her own. But like all dolls, she is amazingly skillful at moving about so that no one ever notices. She is brave and very smart. Somehow she will get to the city of Atlanta. She will find the orphanage where Amanda is staying. From then on, she will be Amanda's very own doll, as she was always meant to be.
