Lydia is a slave but she is white with green eyes and red hair.She soon figures out That she can pass for white with the right clothes. She fall in love with a black slave, and not legal but in the slave custom marries him. They sleep together and she gets pregnant. But she runs away and a white man takes her in and offers to marry her. She agrees , but regrets it.This story has several interesting endings.
