Miss Rachel Grifford, the second daughter of a viscount, deals with constant drama from her mother and sister (a real harridan). Both parents are disinterested in their daughters, except to keep the peace when the older sister has tantrums.

The story is engaging, but the plotline is not very likely. Andrew's inability to imagine who would want his father (and Andrew) dead is ridiculous. The culprit was blindingly obvious from the beginning.

This is well-written and engaging, except for the problem mentioned above.
