Gillon Stokes was born and raised in Charleston. Like her mother and grandmother before her, her unconventional style has always made her to feel awkward among her general family. Then she has a change to leave Charleston for London, and find something different--a place to belong. She loves her assured roommate, Tilly, and Tilly's photographer boyfriend, Henry. Gillon returns home for the birth of her sister's baby. Henry, an interested suitor, follows her there. He not only falls in love with the wildlife of the South marshes, he follows in love with Gillon. But photographers sometimes have to adjust their lenses to be quite certain they've fallen in love. (I should know).
