This is a fun and nostalgic book about "Slinky" the toy that first appeard in 1945 on a snowy night in Gimbels department store. Do you remember your Slinky toy or perhaps the commercial song is still going inside your head? "What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs and makes a slinkity sound?
