I, too, loved the teenage attitude. What I found fun was how the heroine tried to NOT get caught up in the mystery, but got dragged in anyway.

Hint: Read the author's note at the end of the book BEFORE you begin reading. It will help you personalize the background, settings, and characters in the story.
