I really liked this book, It brings up some issues that may seem incredibly clear and then not so clear all at the same time. Great for discussion.
Kate is diagnosed with Leukemia, so her parents have a child, Anna, that is created to be a perfect donor match for her. The book takes place when Anna is 13 and Kate is 16. Anna sues for Medical Emancipation, so she will not be required to donate a Kidney or other blood, etc to her sister. A real heart wrenching story with twisted ending.. SNiff... Sniff..
