Ay, Julia, pobrecita. The blurb makes you think the story is solely about solving her older sister's secret, but it's also about Julia's teen-aged angst, her frustration with her controlling mother, and her spiral into depression. The description of the Mexican family dynamic and culture is accurate and amusing. I can relate. 4 stars.
