This book started out as pretty uninteresting. When the character arrives on Perelandra it's interesting for a while, until the "conflict" shows up. The "conflict" isn't compelling, in my opinion. The "allegory" through much of this book wasn't even that. Anybody with at least some familiarity with the book of Genesis could see right through this one. The ending, however, was stupendous. It was poetic and gorgeous!
